The High Strung Community Music Center will present “Learn to Play” workshops, organized jams, the musical instrument petting zoo, a Guitar ER (emergency instrument repair), “make and take” activities, and sales of recordings from many of your favorite Festival performers!
Activities occur both days except where noted.
Heroes and Sheroes of the Eno River Valley – Join Eno Journal editor Beverly Scarlett, her friends, family, and local artist Sandee Washington for this phenomenal show that gives voice to African American and Native people who lived on the Eno and whose stories and histories often are preserved only in scattered court records, obscure land deeds, and other bits and pieces. Upstairs at the Pack House/Hugh Mangum Photo Museum

Black Meadow Ridge guided walk with Joe Liles. Learn about the impacts of the major housing development proposed on the Eno, and walk to the property boundary to see the clearcutting and proximity to West Point. Leave from outside the Pack House/Hugh Mangum Photo Museum daily at 1pm.
